Lauren is supposed to be going to sleep at the moment, but I can totally hear her listening to “O Holy Night” in her room.
I guess we can’t teach her everything :)
a quirk that irks me
vegas required ample amounts of walking up and down the strip, in and out of the hotels, and around and around we went. There is something about not having a car to rely on that I love. I think it’s because I really just don’t do enough walking in my day-to-day life (but there is only so much walking I can do by myself…I’d much rather walk with someone).

a great escape
I was kinda hesitant and unexcited to go, but this trip was good. No real set plans, lots of walking mixed with a little lounging around the pool. It’s just so nice to embrace the sun and its warmth; the feeling of walking outside of a building at night and realizing that it’s warmer out than in.
I’m rejuvinated
and really thankful that I have a friend who puts up with me
